Phillip’s Lumalive Technology
What is the technology behind Lumalive?
Lumalive fabrics feature Philips’ proprietary technology of integrating flexible arrays of light-emitting diodes (LEDs) into the fabric. The integrated control unit makes it possible to change the light patterns and to show full color animations. The control unit is programmable. The system obtains its power from a small battery pack or the mains.
When will Lumalive be available in the market?
The products will be commercially available via selected partners in the promotion & event industry. First distributor, Boost Products, will launch Lumalive light-emitting event gear in the Benelux countries. For further information visit the Boost Products website at www.boostproducts.nl
I don’t know about you, but when I first saw these t-shirts, my jaw hit the keyboard! Not only is this the most exciting innovation in textiles since Hypercolor, but is also concrete evidence that either the future or the end is upon us.

Heartbreaker in UO Blog
Jaci Hodges is featured on the front page of the Urban Outfitters blog. Sorta cool to see someone on a site like that when you normally see them at 3AM drunk as a skunk. Here’s the photo.

Heartbreaker, you make us proud!

Stitch - Urban Sewing Lounge
I think this is a fabulously awesome idea. These folks have done something similar to The Creative Space in downtown Bryan only using sewing/textiles as their medium. Here’s a little video from ThreadBanger (awesome!!!).

We are excited to report that there are 3 new shirt designs available for purchase (and all shirts are now $15). Like always, our designs are printed on American Apparel t-shirts, which are made in America and sweatshop-free. A portion of each sale will benefit a charity.
Also, be sure to check out the new Activist desktops in the be an activist section.
And in case you didn’t know, Activist apparel is about change, about making heads turn and minds think. We challenge blind beliefs and bring to the forefront ideals that should not be forgetten or ignored. We make style for all to see - bold, powerful, true. So take charge and make people think. Change your style. Change yourself. Change the world.
